Tracie Holder will join us for our October luncheon for a workshop on the Enneagram.

Its contribution to self-awareness, growth, and fostering healthy relationships has elicited continual interest and enthusiasm.

Professionally, It has helped clients understand themselves better and move towards growth/healing. Personally, it has helped people gain crucial information on a journey towards health/healing. Relationally, it has helped people understand others in all kinds of relationships to know how to understand others, communicate more effectively with them, be able to offer patience and grace, & hold each other's differences better.

Tracie Holder received her Master of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a dual emphasis in School Counseling and Mental Health and a specialty in Spiritual Formation. She is also completing her Registered Play Therapist certification. In her therapy practice, Tracie mainly uses a person-centered, integrative approach, acknowledging the importance of awareness and understanding our emotions and how they influence our thoughts and behaviors. She prioritizes unconditional positive regard, highly values the importance of a trusting relationship with her clients, and works to help clients develop self-awareness and vulnerability to work towards becoming their authentic selves. She leads her clients in sessions in a non-directive manner, allowing the client to invite her into the areas they need/want healing in and want to work on. Tracie uses an eclectic modality of therapy, in order to provide the most beneficial therapeutic experience for each client.

Tracie has worked with individuals and couples, with clients from approximately 4 years old through adulthood, treating conditions including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, disordered eating, body dysmorphia, trauma, addictions, ADHD, divorce, faith/spiritual exploration/healing, and relational issues. She is LGBTQ+ affirming and specializes in working with teens as well. While Tracie works through a Christian lens, spirituality/faith is left up to the client whether and how much it is brought into sessions. She is open to creating a vulnerable, trusting relationship that honors her client's stories, recognizing the courage it takes to create change and healing in their lives, and walking with them through every step of their journey.
